Return & Exchange Policy
Your satisfaction means everything to us. If your new OLEADA piece isn’t quite right, no worries - we’ve got you!
You can request a return within 30 days of delivery via our return portal or by emailing hello@oleadanyc.com (don’t forget to include your order number in the subject line!).
To be eligible for return, items must be:
- in their original, unused condition;
- with all original tags attached; and
- in their original packaging
Sales and personalized orders are final and not eligible for return.
Return Shipping
Return shipping fees vary depending on your location, but we’ve made the process easy and seamless. Once your request is submitted, you’ll receive a prepaid return shipping label using the most cost-effective method. Just click “Print Label” to download and attach it.
We offer free return shipping for customers located in:
- the United States (excluding Alaska & Hawaii); and
- Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia & the Philippines
In-Person Free Return Drop-Off (NYC Only): We’re happy to offer an in-person return option for our NYC community!
- Please submit the return request through return portal and then bring your bag and drop it off at the OLEADA NYC office at Chelsea:

Our team will be happy to assist you and ensure everything is taken care of smoothly.
For all other regions, customers are responsible for return shipping costs. If return fees apply, they’ll simply be deducted from your refund.
For customers in the Middle East (including Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, and Kuwait), prepaid return labels are currently unavailable, and return shipments need to be arranged at your own cost. Please email us at hello@oleadanyc.com with your order number and return tracking number.
In rare cases where your address format prevents our system from automatically generating a label, please arrange your own return shipment.
- If your return meets our free-return policy, we’ll reimburse the shipping cost once your return is received and processed.
- To request a reimbursement, please email us at hello@oleadanyc.com with your order number and return tracking number.
Refund Process
Eligible returns may be refunded as follows:
- Original payment method – return shipping fees (if applicable) will be deducted; or
- OLEADA digital gift card – no shipping or processing costs deducted.
Once your return arrives at our studio, please allow 1–2 weeks for processing. You’ll get an email once your refund is complete.
Please note: Original shipping fees, return shipping costs, duties, and taxes are non-refundable.
Damaged or Defective Item
We stand by every stitch. All OLEADA handbags purchased from oleadanyc.com come with a 1-year craftsmanship warranty. If something’s off, let us know—we’ll make it right.
Reach out within 1 year of delivery via our return portal (available within 30 days of shipment) or email us at hello@oleadanyc.com (after 30 days online return window) with your order number, describing the damage or defect experienced, and clear photos of your item (front, back, sides, bottom, and interior).
Depending on the issue, we’ll:
- Repair your item at our cost
- Replace it if it can’t be repaired
- Or, issue an OLEADA digital gift card and cover all shipping and processing of the defective item
Our warranty does not cover damage or defects caused by:
- Accidents, misuse, or natural disasters
- Cleaning agents or chemicals
- Sharp or abrasive contact
- Human fluids, spills, or pet damage
- Normal wear & tear
- Unauthorized repairs or alterations
