We founded OLEADA because we were tired of being overlooked.

Standing at the JFK Airport Security Check, after attempting to stuff my laptop inside my designer bag, the accessory’s thin strap broke. With my belongings scattered across the floor, it hit me: Why are we forced to sacrifice function in favor of fashion?

As women in finance, it was clear that our workbags weren’t designed for us. They either lacked the functionality required for our busy lives or meant settling for styles that didn’t embody who we are – in business and life. 

So we set out to create a solution. OLEADA was born from a desire to offer more than just another accessory – to provide thoughtfully engineered bags designed to ground women in their authentic expression.
