As a company, we believe that the voices of our community are what make us strong. We recently had the opportunity to interview our New York-based customer models and asked them the same questions. The answers we received were heartfelt and inspiring, showcasing the diversity and strength of our community. These New Yorkers are from all over the world with their own stories to tell. Meet Viktoriia, Samantha, Amairany, Svea, and our very own co-founder Tiffany, and here are their real voices.
You are a New Yorker now. Where are you originally from?
Viktoriia: I'm from Russia.
Amairany: Mexico.
Samantha: Brooklyn, New York.
Svea: Germany. Hamburg is my hometown.
Tiffany: Hong Kong.
What do you do for a living?
Viktoriia: I do Business Consulting in Finance in New York.
Amairany: I’m an advisor for international private banking clients.
Samantha: I’m an assistant manager at a luxury retail jewelry store.
Svea: I’m running an online marketing agency with the core being brand building and brand strategy. It’s a lot of fun, we are headquartered in New York.
Tiffany: I’m the co-founder of OLEADA.
Viktoriia: My mom and my sister.
Amairany: It’s a group of women. My mom, my sister, and my group of friends in New York and Mexico.
Samantha: My mom, my aunt, and my grandmother. I come from a family full of strong independent women.
Svea: That’s a great question because there are so many. So many inspiring women I work with. I have a great friendship with my mother. She’s a role model, she’s a strong, always positive-thinking woman. She raised me to go with that exact mindset into the world and appreciate every moment, every path.
Tiffany: All the female business leaders.
Viktoriia: When I got into a business school in New York and when I got my first job offer I felt very powerful and that I could do anything.
Amairany: When I first bought my first home as a single woman, I felt very powerful.
Samantha: I planned a solo trip to Europe for 3 weeks and to 4 countries, made a lot of memories, had a lot of fun and a lot of adventures. It made me feel very powerful that I got through it alone and safe and sound.
Svea: Actually right now. I love the path I’m on right now. I love to be in New York, and I love to be surrounded by inspiring people and to do the things I want to do, to make a positive impact in other people’s life. Right now I am very happy in my life.
Tiffany: When I quit my golden job in private equity and started OLEADA.
Viktoriia: When I got into a business school in New York and when I got my first job offer I felt very powerful and that I could do anything.
